Literature review

Hi,

I have decided to go with cloud computing as a topic for my RWSL assignment. I need to dig deep into particular topics before i can make a decision on what particular stream i would be following. Ideally, it would be a mix of cloud technologies & big data. Who knows it might change as i study these topics in details.

As far as the finding the content and literature review is concerned. I have observed that it's easier to follow people than to follow journals especially when you are new and don't know which journals actually matter. So the easier way, in my opinion, is to look up the thought leaders, gurus and pundits in your particular area of research. Almost, all the renowned researchers have their own website or blog in which there whole history can be found. It is a good source of authentic papers and journals that may be of help to you. Once you get a list of journals and papers than you can compare them on JCR to verify their authenticity to date. Some good researchers also tend to highlight the current areas of research and future research questions which can be of paramount importance to newbies like me.

Anyway, i will come back with more info once i have implemented these techniques to find out relevant resources.

BR,
Sarfraz.
